Justin Wilcox and Patricio Pitbull were looking to keep their momentum going in the Bellator featherweight tournament, which is exactly what they did. Wilcox was facing Joe Taimanglo, and he was looking to showcase his wrestling and improved striking. Wilcox was able to get the better of the ground exchanges, earning a unanimous decision win.

It was an impressive win, showcasing his power and ability to control where the fight takes place. Just like Wilcox, Pitbull was also able to showcase his top game grappling over Fabricio Guerreiro, who is a dangerous jiu-jitsu practitioner. In each round, Pitbull was able to keep Fabricio against the cage, taking him down on multiple occasions.

It was a more measured approach, but it was enough for Pitbull, who was awarded a unanimous decision. Now, Wilcox and Pitbull will square off in the featherweight tournament final, which will be a compelling fight for many reasons. Pitbull is one of the most powerful punchers in Bellator, and he will be looking to land some leather against Wilcox, who is not as seasoned as Pitbull when it comes to striking.

Yet, Wilcox may have the wrestling advantage, and this is his best path to victory.

The winner of this tournament final will get a chance to fight the featherweight champion, Pat Curran. Curran has looked sensational as of late, and he will be waiting eagerly to get his hands on either Wilcox or Pitbull. It should be a great finale in the featherweight tournament where fans could see fireworks.
