Winslow Townson — USA TODAY Sports

It appears Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen will finally get to settle their beef inside the Octagon. This news comes from Dana White, who spoke to Fox Sports Live, announcing that Sonnen and Silva will be the next coaches for The Ultimate Fighter Brazil: Season 3. This is huge news for both Sonnen and Silva, who have had a history with each other outside the ring.

Currently, Sonnen is set to face Rashad Evans at UFC 167. After that bout, he will fly out to Brazil and begin filming for the show. Sonnen has called out Silva on numerous occasions, saying that all of his Pride victories were fake. Silva responded by making video blogs, and he even confronted Sonnen at a convention where things got heated between the two.

Now, Sonnen will get the chance to prove he is the superior athlete and fighter, and it’s certainly going to be an interesting season of the Ultimate Fighter. Sonnen is coming off a submission victory over Shogun Rua, a victory that certainly revitalized his career. A win over Evans would be huge for his career, and it would certainly set him up on the right path when he coaches on TUF.

Silva will be looking to prove he still can compete with the best of them, and a win over Sonnen would get him back in the mix, whether it’s in the middleweight or light heavyweight division. Silva is coming off a Fight of the Night performance over Brian Stann, and still holds a lot of power in his hands. He will be looking to test Sonnen’s chin when they square off.

Dana White Doesn’t Think Conor McGregor Can Beat Rafael dos Anjos

Things are getting interesting ahead of UFC 196. The headlining fight at that March 5 pay-per-view event will see UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor move up to lightweight to face the champion of that division Rafael dos Anjos. If McGregor succeeds he will become the first UFC fighter to hold belts in two different divisions simultaneously. The oddsmakers have McGregor as the favorite ahead of the fight. UFC president Dana White doesn’t necessarily hold the same opinion.
