Tim Kennedy is coming off an impressive KO victory over Rafael Natal, which happened for the Fight For the Troops 3 card. It was one of Kennedy’s most impressive wins to date, and he now sets himself up for some bigger fights in the middleweight division. It seems like Kennedy has Michael Bisping locked in his sights, and Bisping seems to like the fight. Both fighters called each other out via Twitter earlier this week:

Kennedy : Hey @bisping you should keep your one good eye on me and get the other one healthy. 😉

Bisping: @jihadmane: @bisping you got a date for your next fight? And if so who’s the victim?”Tim Kennedy? April??

The bout has yet to be booked by the UFC, but if it is, it has the makings to be an exciting ones. Both are competent on the feet, and they are certainly competant on the ground as well. Bisping is fresh off a win over Alan Belcher, a win that showcased his surperior striking and cardio. Bisping has always come up short against the best in the middleweight division, and he’s looking to finally build some momentum in hopes of getting a title shot, where Chris Weidman is currently the champ.

Kennedy is also looking to keep his streak alive inside the UFC. He’s 2-0 so far, and a win over Bisping would be a huge feather in his cap. Kennedy has show great power as of late, and fighting Bisping would be an other huge fight that would get him one step closer to a middleweight title shot if he can come out victorious.
