One of the greatest rivalries in the UFC right now is between Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey. Their animosity towards each other has been clear from the moment they came in contact with each other. Tate was one of the new faces of women’s MMA before Rousey came onto the scene.

The torch was passed, however, when Rousey defeated Tate in their championship bout via her signature armbar in the second round. Now, both fighters are set to compete again at UFC 168. It’s going to be a huge event for both fighters, as they have the chance to enhance their brand on the biggest stage in MMA.

Tate has already been doing this, even before the rematch has taken place.

EA Sports and the UFC are working on the first-ever EA UFC video game. The first fighter to get featured on the cover was Jon Jones, and several other fighters are competing to be the second. Surprisingly, Tate was able to beat out Rousey in the first round of the eliminations.

Chalk up a win for Tate, who even appeared on the cover of the December issue of Fitness Gurls Magazine. Things seem to be going well for her, and she’s even taking a healthier approach in terms of her mentality toward Rousey.

In their first fight, Tate described how she fought with anger, and vowed that she would be a much more cerebral, tactful fighter in the second encounter. Whether or not this turns out to be true remains to be seems, but Tate seems to be firing on all cylinders leading up to UFC 168. It’s going to be one of the most important fights in women’s MMA, so be sure to stay tuned!
