Pat Barry and Soa Palelei are set to do battle this weekend, which should be an exciting heavyweight bout that means a lot for both fighters. Both fighters have knockout power in their hands, so it should be a fun one for the fans.

Barry comes into this bout off a devastating TKO loss to Shawn Jordan. Jordan was able to clip Barry early and it ended his night. Now, Barry will have to rebound in a big way, or else he could lose his job with the UFC. Barry has always been an exciting fighter. This was evident in his bouts with Cheick KongoStefan Struve and Christian Morecraft.

However, fighters who have an edge in the grappling/wrestler have been able to impose their will on him. Against, Palelei, he shouldn’t have that problem, as Palelei likes to engage in a stand up battle with his opponents. Soa comes into this pivotal heavyweight bout off a win over Nikita Krylov.

The bout wasn’t too exciting, as both fighters had gassed earlier. At the end of the day, he got the win, which was his first inside the UFC octagon. He is on a nine-fight winning streak, and this bout with Barry will be his biggest to date. Both fighters can end the fight with one punch, and both will be fighting with a sense of desperation because they want to put on a show for the fans. So, will Barry end this fight with a devastating finish, or will Soa keep his winning ways alive?
