An important lightweight bout takes place this weekend for UFC on Fox 9 between Bobby Green and Pat Healy. Both would like to win impressively as a great win would set themselves up for bigger, more important fights in the lightweight division, where Anthony Pettis is the current champion.

Green comes into this fight off a controversial TKO win where he kicked James Krause several times in the groin. He did this for the final time on Krause, who thought the kick was low. The ref deemed it a legal kick, forcing the bout to stop as Krause hit the canvas in pain. Green will be looking to prove he’s not a dirty fighter, and he has a chance to get a huge win by taking on Healy, who is a veteran of the sport.

Green is an explosive striker, and his wrestling has certainly made marked improvements over the years.

Healy comes into this fight off a tough loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov. In the loss, Healy was taken down a lot, which just shows how talented he is in the lightweight division. Healy will be looking to get some momentum back when he faces Green. Healy is one of the biggest lightweights in the division, and he’s a true grinder who likes to push the pace against his opponents. Expect this to be his strategy when he takes on Green this upcoming weekend.
