Chris Leben and Uriah Hall are set to throw down at UFC 168, which is shaping up to be one of the best UFC events ever. Both of these fighters are elite strikers, so they will be looking to put on a standing war for the fans. Both of these fighters are at a crossroads in their career, and a loss for either may spell the end of their careers in the UFC.

Leben comes into this fight desperately needing a win as he is on a three-fight losing streak. Leben hasn’t been the most active fighter, so it’s going to be interesting to see how he looks against Hall. His last loss was to Andrew Craig, a bout that he was controlled in on the ground. This has always been Leben’s weakest skill, but fortunately, he shouldn’t have to worry about this with Hall, who likes to keep the fight standing.

Hall comes into this bout 0-2 in the UFC. Hall was known as a devastating striker in his fights on TUF, but since joining the UFC, he’s lacked the killer instinct and doesn’t seem to fight with a sense of urgency. This was very clear in his bout with John Howard, where Howard was able to get the better of the striking. Hall will need to throw caution to the wind against Leben, especially if he wants to save his UFC job.

The stakes have never been higher for either fighter, so it should be an entertaining striking battle from the very beginning.
