Cung Le UFC

One of the most dynamic strikers in the UFC is Cung Le. He has showcased some flashy kicks and punches, and he’s certainly got the skills to hang with any fighter on the feet. He’s been out of action for some time now due to some lingering injuries, but it seems that he’s fully healed and ready to compete inside the cage again.

He has his sights locked on Michael Bisping, who is getting called out a lot lately. In his Q & A session before UFC Fight Night 34, Le talked about how he wanted to make 2014 count and that he wanted to fight Bisping. This bout would be huge for both fighters. They have a lot of drawing power, and if the bout was booked somewhere in China, it would sell really well in terms of pay-per-view buys.

Le is currently on a two-fight winning streak. His latest win was quite impressive as he got the KO over Rich Franklin in the first round. Bisping is also coming off a dominant win over Alan Belcher, so in terms of relevancy, this fight makes a lot of sense. Both are fighters who love keeping the fight standing, which could result in a violent finish. Hopefully the UFC can book this fight as fans would certainly get a fantastic stand-up war.

So, will the UFC book Le vs. Bisping, or will they go another route with Le?
