UFC on Fox 10 is going to be one of the UFC’s biggest cards on free television. It’s a stacked event with a lot of former champions on the card, but one of the most compelling bouts of the night will be a lightweight matchup between Donald Cerrone and Adriano Martins.

It’s a must-win fight for both, and either could come out the victor as they are both well-rounded fighters. They possess some great finishing abilities, particularly when it comes to the grappling department. Cerrone has been on a quest to become a champion ever since joining the UFC ranks. He’s come close many times, but has always faltered when he needed to win the most.

That said, momentum will be on his side. His latest UFC fight was a win against Evan Dunham in a back-and-forth war that showcased Cerrone’s dynamic submission skills. He ended the bout with a triangle in the second. He will be looking to build off this win, but he faces a tough test in Martins.

Martins also has a lot of momentum behind him, having strung together six straight wins. He made a successful debut in the UFC, submitting Daron Cruickshank by way of armbar. It’s this type of submission skills that make him so dangerous when the fight hits the mat, and he will be looking to submit Cerrone when they square off next weekend. It should be a fantastic lightweight bout where the winner can make some serious headway in the lightweight rankings.
