Season 19 of The Ultimate Fighter closed with a solid night of action in Las Vegas that featured plenty of knockouts and submissions. In the main event, Frankie Edgar sent the legendary B.J. Penn into retirement with a third-round TKO victory. Eddie Gordon and Corey Anderson emerged as TUF 19 middleweight and light heavyweight winners after producing first-round stoppages. Here are the top 5 fights to make in the wake of the TUF 19 Finale.

Gordon lived up to his nickname of “Truck” as he rolled right over Dhiego Lima in the middleweight final of TUF Season 19. Gordon improved to 7-1 with the victory and showcased formidable power in securing his six-figure contract. A matchup against the winner of the upcoming Tor Troeng/Trevor Smith bout would seem a good next test for Gordon. Those two competitors will square off at Fight Night 46 in Dublin, Ireland.

Anderson proved he was more than a wrestler in blasting out Matt Van Buren in just 61 seconds in the light heavyweight final of TUF Season 19. He showcased highly accurate striking skills in maintaining his unbeaten record. A fight against Villante would have the makings of an entertaining affair. The hard-hitting Villante got back on track with a split-decision win over Sean O’Connell in a spirited battle at Fight Night 43.

Ortiz survived a serious armbar submission scare in the opening round against Justin Scoggins and would rally for a split-decision victory. The No. 13-ranked Ortiz earned his second straight win and should face the winner of next month’s Tim Elliott/Wilson Reis clash at Fight Night 49. The No. 11-ranked Elliott has already faced the best that the 125-pound division has to offer, while the powerful Reis is making his flyweight debut.

2. Derrick Lewis vs. Matt Mitrione

Lewis polished off Guto Inocente in devastating fashion in the first round of their heavyweight matchup. Lewis would call out Mitrione in his post-fight interview after producing his tenth career knockout in 11 wins. "Meathead" had his scheduled fight at UFC 175 against Stefan Struve cancelled after the Dutch fighter collapsed in the locker room prior to the bout. Mitrione would be a solid step up for Lewis.

Edgar showed he’s still a legitimate title threat with his dismantling of Penn. With Jose Aldo, Chad Mendes and Cub Swanson all likely to be involved in the featherweight title picture in the next few months, Lamas seems the best fit for “The Answer’s” next fight. Lamas recently defeated Hacran Dias at Fight Night 44. Edgar vs. Lamas would be an exciting matchup of two former 145-pound title challengers who occupy the No. 3 and No. 4 rankings.
