Tim Boetsch has fought for the UFC for almost five years and has always been a top contender, fighting many top challengers thus far. He is primarily a wrestler, but has become a well-rounded mixed martial artist. He is a warrior inside the Octagon and is known famously for his comeback victories over top contenders Yushin Okami and Brad Tavares.

Legendary UFC commentator Joe Rogan stated that his victory over Okami is the greatest comeback in UFC history.

Boetsch started MMA professionally in 2006 and has since put together an impressive record of 18 wins and seven losses. His 18 wins include eight via knockout, five via submission and five going to a decision, illustrating his all-round mixed martial arts skills. He holds notable victories over top middleweights Hector Lombard, C.B. Dollaway, and the incredible wins over Okami and Tavares.

His ever-dominant wrestling, along with his will and desire to always stay in the fight, has resulted in these many thrilling career wins.

Boetsch now faces former title challenger Thales Leites, who’s currently on a seven-fight win streak with four of those bouts being early finishes. Despite Boetsch yet again being a heavy underdog, he can never be counted out of a fight due to the fact he has overcome adversity in the Octagon on multiple occasions.

With a convincing win over Leites resulting in back-to-back wins for the first time since 2012, Boetsch should be elevated from the no. 13 spot into the top 10 and ultimately gaining a shot at another big-name top contender.
