UFC featherweight BJ Penn will return to the octagon at UFC 199 to take on Dennis Siver. Penn retired following a TKO loss at the hands of Frankie Edgar in 2014. The loss put him at 0-3-1 in his final four fights before retirement.

Penn decided to give MMA another shot after talking with his coach Greg Jackson and working out in New Mexico with DonaldCowboyCerrone and Anthony Pettis. When he steps back into the Octagon on June 4, he’ll be looking for his first win since 2010 when he defeated Matt Hughes by a first-round knockout.

The announcement comes after Penn was accused of allegedly assaulting the girlfriend of a former employee of his website, BJPenn.com. No charges were ever brought against Penn and he has denied any wrongdoing in the matter.

Siver will be looking to end a two-fight losing streak when he faces Penn in Los Angeles. He’s lost to Conor McGregor and Tatsuya Kawajiri in a stretch that’s seen him go 1-3 with a no contest in his last five fights.

UFC 199 will feature co-main events as Luke Rockhold will defend his middleweight championship against former champion Chris Weidman and Dominick Cruz will defend his bantamweight title against Urijah Faber.
