On Thursday, current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate made headlines for her appearance on the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ in which she details an incredibly chippy exchange between Ronda Rousey and up-and-coming star Paige VanZant.

According to Tate, Rousey laced into VanZant with an expletive laden rant for congratulating Holly Holm on defeating Rousey at UFC 196.

A few hours after Tate’s interview, VanZant confirmed the comments telling TMZ:

“It appears that I offended Ronda by congratulating Holly after her victory. The incident was very shocking and totally unnecessary.”

Rousey has yet to publicly comment.
