MMA Fighter Gets So Disoriented By Beatdown He Tries to Choke Referee

KnockOut Promotions has some pretty intense fights, and the bout between Joseph Nehm and  at KOP 54 certainly qualifies.

Following a kick to the head and a barrage of punches from Brink, Nehm was clearly out of it and the referee called the fight, stepping in to make sure Nehm was okay.

What happened then was unexpected, to say the least.

A disoriented Nehm grabbed the ref, apparently believing that he was the other fighter, and rolled him into a chokehold submission.

The disoriented fighter’s corner quickly rushed to the ref’s defense and separated their fighter from the official.

Exhibit A of why head injuries are serious business.
