Terence Crawford Unifies Titles with Brutal Body Punch KO of Julius Indongo

By Anthony Blake

Terence Crawford became the undisputed junior welterweight champion of the world on Saturday night via a devastating left hand to the body of Julius Indongo.

A brutally efficient Crawford knocked Indongo to the mat once in the second round, but this crushing blow in the third round left him down for the count.

Here’s how Indongo described being on the receiving end of that punch.

“He hit me hard to my body. I couldn’t breathe, it hurt so bad. When he hit me that hard, not only did it hurt, it took my mind away. I couldn’t think.”

Many boxing aficionados would tout Crawford as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world after this win.

And it would be hard to say they are wrong given the 29-year-old’s spotless record to this point.
