Showtime Facing Lawsuit Over Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather Fight Stream

By Anthony Blake

With both Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather taking home tens of millions of dollars via their superfight on Saturday night, it’s only fitting that the public wishes to get its own cut.

Showtime will be facing a class-action lawsuit as a result of a failed stream for the $99.95 fight.

The suit claims that the rush to get the stream out to paying customers cheated the bandwidth and allowed several streams to fail.

While it won’t be as lucrative as the paydays the two main attractions got, there’s still some money to be made at Showtime’s expense should these claims hold water.
