Kurt Busch To Get Sponsorship From The Jerry Springer Show?
Kurt Busch might finally be getting that much needed sponsorship for the No.51 team.
It was announced by Fox Sports Saturday that the Jerry Springer Show is interested in sponsoring Busch’s cup ride. Prior to the race in Darlington Springer representatives asked Phoenix Racing to submit a proposal for a potential sponsorship deal. Phoenix Racing submitted a design with the show’s logo.
The Jerry Springer Show gained interest in Busch after Talladega when Busch’s No.51 featured the ‘Talladega Nights’ paint scheme.
Busch is currently serving a suspension from NASCAR. He will miss the race at Pocono and will be allowed to race the following week at Michigan. Busch is also on probation until December 31st due to his incident after the Nationwide Race in Dover and his prior incident at Darlington involving his pit crew and the No.39 team of Ryan Newman. David Reutimann will be replacing Busch in the No.51 car at Pocono.
Busch’s future at Phoenix Racing will be discussed with car owner James Finch in the upcoming days. Depending on what occurs in their meeting will determine how the Springer sponsorship goes.
