Linda Chase Kept Dead Body Of Charles William Zigler Around To Watch NASCAR Races With

By Riley Schmitt

At first glance, Linda Chase is probably your average NASCAR fan.  She enjoys good action and of course, all of the crashes.  Her good friend Charles William Zigler was the same way until he died.  That didn’t stop Chase from watching some racing action with him.  Seriously, read the following.

Zigler, known as Charlie, died naturally, Chase said. “He just fell asleep.” She kept him in his chair after he died, keeping him dressed and cleaned. His body did not stink, she said. She would talk to him and watch NASCAR races on television with him.

Alright, that is fairly weird but get this.  Authorities think Zigler died around Christmas.  Christmas of 2010.  It’s July 2012.  She almost kept her dead friend’s body in her house for two years.  That is not only strange, it is terrifying, wrong, disgusting, horrendous and about 1500 other adjectives that I can not think of right now.

Chase knows that she is probably going to jail but I am still at a loss to why she would keep the body of her friend around.  Having friends die sucks.  That doesn’t mean I would want to prop them up in a recliner and talk to them like nothing was wrong.  That is borderline insane and not in a good way.

Thankfully Zigler is now getting buried.  It must have been a rough time sitting their in a chair, having your body deal with the pain of endless commercials.  Seriously, there has to be more commercial time than actual racing time these days.
