Joe Nemechek Gets Sponsor Help in Nationwide Series
NASCAR’s Nationwide driver/owner Joe Nemechek has landed a sponsor for the upcoming Food City 250 from Bristol Motor Speedway. AC General Contractor, Inc. is a company based out of Alaska and is new to NASCAR.
AC General specializes in the construction of ring wall foundation systems for above-ground fuel storage tanks throughout the United States. In addition to full-service project management in Alaska, the company’s composite crew is available as a specialty subcontractor for the construction of ring wall foundations for above-ground fuel storage tanks anywhere. Ring wall foundations are the concrete base of those big fuel storage tanks you see pretty much everywhere these days, and they’ve got a better way to build them.
Joe Nemechek has been competing in the Nationwide Series for over 20 years. He has 16 career wins in 308 starts but has not seen victory lane since 2004, where he swept the Kansas weekend winning both the Sprint Cup and the Nationwide race.
Nemechek has 16 career starts at Bristol Motor Speedway with two top-5’s and 4 top 10’s, but finished 30th at the spring race. Joe Nemexcheck currently sits 10th in the driver standings and has had some very competitive runs this season.
Joe Nemechek’s website JoeNemechek.com posted this comment,“With continued support from AM FM Energy and the new support from AC General, we are looking forward to an exciting weekend at Bristol. With the track changes it sounds like we’ll be back to the old Bristol. Here’s hoping it will be a good weekend and we can maintain our strong points position.”
