Travis Pastrana will look to add more to his NASCAR resume when he makes his trucks debut at Las Vegas.

During the race weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Pastrana will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut behind the wheel of the No.98 Toyota Truck of ThorSport Racing, according to ESPN.

On Wednesday at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Pastrana said that he was excited about his latest opportunity, to race in the trucks series. Pastrana also mentioned that he has received help from Matt Crafton, who will be his teammate for the Las Vegas race. Crafton currently drives the No.88 truck for ThorSport Racing.

Pastrana’s last NASCAR race was in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at Richmond, when he drove for Roush-Fenway Racing in the No. 60 car. He also ran in a partial schedule for Michael Waltrip Racing and RAB Racing, who had a partnership deal to race the No.99 car. The 2012 season was also Pastrana’s debut season in the Nationwide Series.

Since the 2011 season, Pastrana has also been in the NASCAR K&N Series.

For the Las Vegas racing weekend, Pastrana will be competing in double duty as he is set to race in the Global RallyCross race at Las Vegas Saturday night. The Global RallyCross race is set to start after the trucks race the same night. He also competed in double duty with NASCAR and Global RallyCross in past weekends at Charlotte and New Hampshire.
