In his first full-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season, Ryan Blaney has gotten off to a great start.

As the Truck Series prepares to race at Iowa Speedway, Blaney will head into the race weekend in familiar territory and with a chance to capture his first win of the season. The last time the Trucks Series made a visit to Iowa, he had his time to shine and show the best of his abilities. He showed that he should be considered a contender when he captured his first NASCAR career win last season.

Blaney’s first Truck Series win at Iowa made history as he became the youngest Truck Series winner. His win also gave his team, Brad Keselowski Racing, their very first win as well. He’ll try to find success and possibly victory lane as the most recent winner at the track.

He has come close to a win on a couple of occasions in 2013, with his best finish thus far being third in two different races.

Iowa gave him his best career finish and it’s a track that has favored young drivers in the past. Blaney heads in to Iowa as one of the potential favorites. This upcoming race weekend not only allows him to be a top contender for the win and a potential repeat, but a chance to move up in the point standings in a championship hunt.
