Brad Keselowski overcomes adversity and drives back to the front to win the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Iowa Speedway.

What a day for Brad Keselowski, he was in Long Pond PA in order to practice his NASCAR Sprint Cup car. He leaves there while his NASCAR Truck Series driver Ryan Blaney is winning the Truck race at Pocono. He arrives at Iowa Speedway in time to qualify his Nationwide car fifth. That is one long day.

His long day doesn’t stop there. During the race while moving to the front his team loses control of a tire and it leaves the pit box. He gets a penalty and has to start the race at the back. He somehow keeps his cool drives to the front, just what he needed on a long day.

Brad Keselowski is doing double duty this week and hence the long day in order to get the Number 22 back to the top in Owner points. This win helped and moved the No. 22 Ford within 33 points of the No. 54 JGR car.

Much talk has been made about Kyle Busch wining eight Nationwide Series races but Brad has won the last three races he entered. Besides today at Iowa, he won at Kentucky and Richmond earlier this year.

Pole sitter Drew Herring driving the No. 54 JGR car had an eventful day. He spun causing the first caution but recovered nicely finishing the race sixth.

Sam Hornish Jr. was second, Brian Vickers third, Austin Dillon fourth, Kyle Larson fifth was the highest finishing rookie.  Austin Dillon leads the point standing by 14 points over Regan Smith.
