Tony Stewart is Set to Make NASCAR Return; Will Be Better Than Ever
It’s been months since the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series saw one of its former champions on the track, but at Daytona, that will all change, as it will mark the return of Tony Stewart.
After a wreck in a race outside of NASCAR, Stewart has not been back in Cup Series competition since the August Pocono race. Prior to his time out of NASCAR, Stewart was starting to get on a roll with the chance to race in the chase, but from then on, Stewart’s absence was felt.
Now as a new NASCAR season is set to begin, a fresh start is also set to begin for Stewart. After having to watch the rest of the 2013 season from the sidelines, he’s ready to get back in the car after months of being away.
As a three-time Sprint Cup Series champion and as one of the sports most recognized figures, all eyes will be set on Stewart on his return.
After spending some time of the track in order to recover, going into the 2014 season Stewart will be making his return and hoping to come back on top. Stewart will be a man on a mission, possibly even coming back better than ever and making another run at another championship.
The Sprint Unlimited will give fans a first look at what may be one of the most awaited returns in sports. The countdown is over and Smoke is back. He’s back and ready to race. After being forced to miss time during a hot streak, time off will bring an even better Stewart.
