Matt Kenseth Attacks Brad Keselowski Like He’s on an Episode of Nitro

NASCAR gets a lot of flak for being boring. But one thing that’s undeniably not boring in NASCAR? The confrontations.

While drivers rarely get in all-out fights, they do get in heated exchanges. One of those exchanges/fights happened on Saturday night, but it occured in a way that resembled a classic episode of WCW Monday Nitro.

Check out Matt Kenseth as he attacks Brad Keselowski from behind after the BofA 500:

Kenseth explained his actions via ESPN:

“It was really the safety. He was doing something with Hamlin, I had my seatbelt off, my (head-and-neck restraint) off and he clobbers me. The race is over, come back to pit road. If you want to talk about it like a man, go do that. But if you want to wreck somebody on the racetrack with people standing around, that’s just inexcusable…There’s no excuse for that. That’s a champion and he’s supposed to know better than that.”

Tony Stewart also sent Keselowski a loud and clear message on the track:

NASCAR confrontations are great, but they have nothing on the good old days of wrasslin’:
