Game 66: Thunder @ Wizards
The Thunder were in Washington to face the Wizards. Like the last game, this was a no-contest from the beginning. Also, Kendrick Perkins made his season debut for the Thunder.
The Thunder got out to a big lead early, using an early scoring burst to go up 9 after 1. The Thunder scored even more points in the second quarter, while holding the Wizards offense to minimal production. Thunder led by 21 at half. In the third quarter, the Thunder played well on both ends, and opened up the lead to 25 after 3. Starters rested in the fourth quarter, while the reserves gained some playing time. Thunder win by 27.
Kevin Durant had 32, Russell Westbrook and Daequan Cook each had 18, and Perkins had 6 points and 9 rebounds in his Thunder debut. Travel to Miami Wednesday to face the Heat. Thunder Up!!!
