The Thunder hosted the Raptors Sunday night.
The team got off to a slow start, allowing the Raptors to get off good shots, while the Thunder weren’t able to get going early. Thunder trailed by 3 after 1. In the second quarter, the Thunder still trailed by a couple of baskets all quarter, and were never able to close the gap. Thunder trailed by 4 at half. In the third quarter, the Raptors opened up the game, using good shooting and runs to open a double-digit lead, while the Thunder still struggled on both ends. Thunder trailed by 10 after 3. In the fourth quarter, the Thunder came alive, using big scoring runs and good defense to close the gap and eventually take the lead. Kendrick Perkins missed 2 free throws late, which allowed the Raptors to make a game-tying shot, and score the go-ahead basket with under 5 seconds left. The Thunder get off a bad shot from the corner, and lose by 2.
James Harden had 23 off the bench, Russell Westbrook added 22, and Kevin Durant had 20. Utah in town Wednesday. Thunder Up!!!
