The Thunder hosted the Jazz Wednesday night in a divisional showdown.
The game got off to the usual hot Thunder start, scoring at will, and containing Utah on both ends. Thunder led by 7 after 1. The somewhat-usual lull in the second quarter occurred, as the Thunder only scored 18 points. The Jazz didn’t fare much better, and the Thunder led by 5 at half. In the third quarter, the Thunder started to pull away, but the Jazz kept it within striking distance. The Thunder used a strong close to go up 9 after 3. In the fourth quarter, the Thunder held a double-digit lead pretty regularly, and the Jazz were not able to close the gap. Thunder win by 12.
Russell Westbrook had 31 for the Thunder, Kevin Durant added 29, and Serge Ibaka had 15 points and 13 rebounds. In all, five Thunder players scored in double figures. Hosting the Timberwolves Friday night. Thunder Up!!!
