The Thunder hit the road to play Phoenix Wednesday night.
The Thunder got off to a hot start early, scoring in bunches and gained a 5-point lead after 1. In the second quarter, the Thunder were not able to continue their 1st quarter momentum. The Thunder struggled on offense, but kept Phoenix in check as well. Thunder led by 4 at half. In the third quarter, the Thunder continued to slightly struggle on offense, while playing good on the defensive end. Thunder led by 6 after 3. In the fourth quarter, however, the Thunder used a huge run early to put the game out of reach. The Thunder lead got up to 17, and was maintained for the duration of the game, as the Thunder earn an 18-point victory.
Five players scored in double figures tonight, led by 22 each for Kevin Durant and James Harden, and 13 from Kendrick Perkins. The Thunder also earn their second straight 50-win season. Friday night in Portland. Thunder Up!!!
