Heat Bringing Their Shooters, Role Players, and “Goon” to the Target Center

Tonight in Minneapolis, the Wolves will try to bounce back from a Chicago Bulls beat down against the Miami Heat who have struggled against some lowly teams of late, including a loss to Ol’ Bron Bron’s former team.  Jerry Zgoda, writer for the Star Tribune Tweeted a fun quote from Michael Beasley the other day regarding the Heat:

Jerry Zgoda @JerryZgoda Jerry Zgoda  Beasley on Heat: They got shooters. They got guys who understand their roles. They got goons, Juwan Howard. They got everything you want
Beasley was likely referring to Howard involvement in an incident with Wizard’s rookie point guard, John Wall that resulted in fines and a suspension for Wall.  Either way he’s right. Look at the guy, he would have made a good member of the Monstars from Space Jam.  So, if the Heat weren’t motivated enough by their battle for playoff position, now they have even more reason to take it to the Timberwolves.
If the Wolves are going to take even one quarter off defensively against the Heats high powered offense tonight they might as well stay home.  I’m looking for Beasley to try (and hopefully succeed) to have a big game against his former team, after having to sit out the 2nd half of their last meeting with a sore hip.  Also, K-Love should have the rust shaken off from missing a few games with the groin injury.  Hopefully we bring our A game tonight so the Heat don’t treat us like the new guy on shower day at the prison.
