Depleted New Jersey Nets Take A Seat To Carmelo and Company Again

New Jersey’s last game was a competitive one but this time around there was nothing worth seeing. As the Nets fell to Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks 116-93. New Jersey have dropped eight of their last 10 games.

The Nets fell to Detroit the other night and are on an 2 game losing streak. This without the presence of the entire starting lineup except center Brook Lopez.

He scored 27 points for the night.

Anthony has a 25 points 14 rebound effort and was hot from the arc. Chauncey Billups scored 22 points.

Go figure of course with a depleted starting lineup that included Sasha Vujacic and Jordan Farmar getting more rebounds then the starting center. This is bad, very laughable and embarassing.

Not a lovely way to close out the next few games. They take on Toronto this weekend but don’t expect this game to be competitive.

Season lost and its becoming unbearable to watch.

Was it true Travis Outlaw was chanted MVP? Good one..

Dwyane Wade Makes Brooklyn Nets Look Foolish

You gotta give the Brooklyn Nets credit: Despite looking incredibly foolish at times in front of their home crowd, they competed against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night and only lost by four points. That said, you wouldn't know it from this epic clip of Dwyane Wade dribbling circles around multiple Nets and ultimately hitting a stellar fadeaway jumper.

Gerald Green Throws Down Monstrous Slam On Nets

Gerald Green hasn't been the most consistent player throughout the early stages of his young career, but there's no denying his overwhelming athleticism. Against the floundering Brooklyn Nets this evening, Green showcased some of those said abilities by emphatically throwing down a monstrous dunk, and he caught some major air in the process. If he's ever able to learn how to do it night-in and night out, Green is going to be an All-Star one day.
