Well, the basketball gods, (or David Stern) certainly didn’t favor the Raptors tonight.

Coming into the draft lottery with the 3rd best odds, the Raps dropped all the way to the number 5 pick.

This is pretty sad considering this isn’t a very deep draft, and an all-star player will likely be hard to find with this pick.

The first pick will go to the Cleveland Cavaliers, who will almost certainly take Kyrie Irving. Derrick Williams will then likely go to Minnesota, but after that, your guess is as good as mine.

Utah has the number 3 pick, and Cleveland has another pick received from the LA Clippers, which landed at number 4.

With the #5 slot, the Raps should look at a point guard, either Brandon Knight or Kemba Walker.

Either way, this is extremely disappointing for Raptors fans, and
