Phoenix Suns Set Brief Preseason Schedule
The NBA lockout took several things away from the fans, but the league is trying to run things like nothing was missed, including having some preseason games before the regular season gets under way on Christmas Day.
The Suns announced on Friday that they will have a two-game preseason slate with both matchups coming against the Denver Nuggets. Phoenix will head to the Mile High City to face the Nuggets on Dec. 20. The brief preseason will then be wrapped up on Dec. 22 from US Airways Center with a 7 p.m. tip against the same Denver squad.
Missing a slew of preseason games will more than likely be something that all fans can agree is one of the lone perks from the lockout. Not having to watch a bunch of borderline roster guys is great, but with a short training camp and with only two preseason games, the regulars are going to rusty once the regular season starts up.
