Boston Celtics Jeff Green Has A Heart Condition
Green has been held out of practices since problems showed up on his physical last week. The 25-year-old has said the trouble was detected during a stress test, which would likely indicate a heart issue, but he has not expanded on the matter and declined comment yesterday as he shot around before the team’s workout.
According to sources close to Green, his health is expected to be fine in the long run, but there is a question now as to how long it will take to get him there. The Celtics are said to be concerned on both fronts.

The clouded Jeff Green situation appears to be getting a lot more into focus. Steve Bulpett of bostonherald.com is reporting that Green has a heart condition. This condition that was spotted during a failed stress test is what is keeping Green off the court.
The problem is this is only answers the first question of why Jeff Green is out. The question of when he will return to the floor is still very much up in the air. Reports are that Green and Celtics president Danny Ainge were at an undisclosed location getting further tests done. These tests will determine if Green can control this condition with medication or if a medical procedure is needed. If a medical procedure is needed, than Green will be sidelined for a while. However, if medication is all that is needed than Green will be back a lot sooner.
The good news is Green as a person will be O.K. and healthy in the long term. The bad news is the Celtics may be without a guy the team was counting on to be the sixth man off the bench that took the scoring burden off Rondo and “The Big Three”. When more reports come forward, Rant Sports will keep you informed. Remember Go Green Or Go Home!!!!!!!!!
