Tim Duncan Finally Plays Like Old Timmy

By Paul Troupe

Tim Duncan finally had a game where he played like Tim Duncan that we know. His struggles the past few seasons are duly noted throughout the world wide bet. He’s lost a step, and the long seasons take a toll on his body. What Tim Duncan has done is accept his lessened role in the offense, and do what he can to help the team.

And occasionally, have a game like tonight. Tim Duncan finally had a game where he played like the Tim Duncan that we know. 20 points on 9-12 shooting is quite good for Timmy, including eight rebounds, seven assists, three blocks, and one steal.

When Tim Duncan plays how we know him, he is still a force in this league. I’m not afraid to say it, Tim Duncan is the best power forward in the history of the NBA. His bank shot is just pretty, and though he is a step slower, don’t discount the impact he still has on this team.

His leadership provides intangibles that many other teams do not have. The younger players on the team can rely on his experience of being in big game pressure situations. Do not expect anything less a hard effort from Tim day in and day out.
