Phil Jackson Writing Memoir Titled “Eleven Rings”

Former Los Angeles Lakers head coach Phil Jackson is writing a new book titled “Eleven Rings,” according to publisher Penguin Press.

“Eleven Rings” is of course appropriately titled after the 11 NBA championships Jackson won from 1990-2010 with the Chicago Bulls and Lakers.

Jackson was fortunate enough to coach two of the greatest players of all-time in Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. He is fifth all-time with 1,155 wins as a head coach while his .704 winning percentage is first in NBA history.

This will be Jackson’s second published book with the first coming in 2004 titled “The Last Season: A Team in Search of its Soul,” which was about the ups and downs of the Lakers during the 2003-2004 season. That book was also published by Penguin Press.

“Eleven Rings” is due to be out sometime next year.
