Miami Heat’s James Jones To Defend Three-Point Shootout Title At All-Star Game
The All-Star game festivities are sure to be more interesting this year with the announcement of the contestants for the annual Three-Point Shootout competition. Topping of the field is the Miami Heat’s James Jones who will defend his three-point title at the Amway Arena in Orlando.
Joe Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks, Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Ryan Anderson of the Orlando Magic and surprisingly Anthony Morrow of the New Jersey Nets will be looking to take the title away from Jones.
Jones outdueled Boston’s Ray Allen and Paul Pierce to capture the title defeating Pierce 20-18 in the final round. Jones is looking to become the sixth back-to-back winner following Jason Kapono’s wins in 2007 and 2008.
