Celtic’s Rajon Rondo Given Two-Game Suspension
For the first time in his professional career, Boston Celtics’ point guard, Rajon Rando, was ejected from last night’s game against the Detroit Pistons.
After picking up two technical fouls, Rondo, upset with a non-call late in the third quarter, was thrown from the game after throwing the ball at referee, Sean Wright, as seen below.
Earlier today it was announced that he has also been given a 2-game suspension, without pay, and will miss Boston’s game tonight against the defending champion Dallas Mavericks as well as Wednesday’s match-up with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
