The NBA Trade Deadline is nearing and every team is filled with rumors of their own. Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun is reporting that the Toronto Raptors are not expecting to keep forwards Ed Davis and Amir Johnson next season and that one of the two could be traded by March 15.
Ed Davis has been working on his game with Dwane Casey and could be one of the candidates to leave Toronto. However, Wolstat says that anything could happen and it would ultimately be up to General Manager Bryan Colangelo to make a move.
Wolstat expects Amir Johnson or Davis to be the player to be traded. The play of Linas Kliez is pushing Johnson out of Toronto and Andrea Bargnani is the face of the franchise. They both seem to be the odd men out.
Davis would be cheaper than Johnson, however, there may not be room for Davis and Johnson on the active roster.
