Photo: Kobe Bryant Protective Black Mask
Kobe Bryant is finally embracing his nickname. Prior to Tuesday’s game in Detroit, Bryant decided to wear a black protective mask. Bryant has been wearing a mask after suffering a broken nose during the NBA All-Star game.
The black mask will also help pay homage to his “Black Mamba” nickname. I, for one, am excited to see this new mask. Here’s hoping that Kobe drops 50 tonight and wears a black mask the rest of the season.
Thanks to the Lakers for the photo.
Thanks to Twitter user @LakersNation, we have a photo of Kobe in the mask.
It didn’t last long as Kobe switched masks before halftime, for comfort reasons. RIP Darth Mamba.
