Video: Kris Humphries Shuts Down Blake Griffin’s Alley-Oop Attempt with a Monster Block
Night after night in the NBA, Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin makes his living flying through the air, posterizing people with his huge dunks.
Wednesday night against the New Jersey Nets, Griffin met a worthy adversary in Nets forward Kris Humphries, who went toe-to-toe with Griffin all game long and gave the young star fits.
Watch what happens in the third quarter, as Chris Paul throws a lob pass to Griffin for an alley-oop attempt, only to find Humphries on the prowl, coming up with a monster block of his own.
Every night, the Worldwide Leader does their Top 10 plays of the day, and yet on Wednesday night, this play surprisingly did not make the cut.
The number 10 play was a video clip of a statue being unveiled, so it’s not like it was a tough field to crack.
Maybe they just want to sweep it under the rug when Blake Griffin is on the receiving end of a big play. Who knows?
The Nets and their sweet throwback uniforms would go on to win the game 101-100 after Jordan Farmar came off the bench to hit a game-winning 3-pointer in the final seconds.
