The Los Angeles Lakers finally got the point guard they were so desperate for. ESPN is reporting that the Lakers will acquire Ramon Sessions from the Cleveland Cavaliers for a future draft pick.
This deal is good for both sides. Steve Blake and Derek Fisher weren’t cutting it in LA and Blake might be on the way out anyways. Sessions was left to be a bench player after the emergence of Kyrie Irving.
Sessions probably won’t push the Lakers to a title, but he certainly helps in the short and long term. The wheeling and dealing has just begun.
