After such a promising start to the season, the Minnesota Timberwolves are struggling. The loss of Ricky Rubio plus a tougher schedule has made the playoffs a much more difficult goal.
Things didn’t go so well in Sacramento Sunday night. The Timberwolves lost to the Kings 115-99. Kevin Love and J.J. Barea nearly came to blows on the bench.
During a timeout, Love and Barea had to be separated by teammates to keep from attempting to attacking each other. Love finished the game with 21 points. Barea ended with six.
The Timberwolves need to get back on a hot streak if they playoffs are their goal. Otherwise, fights like this could become more commonplace.
