Derrick Rose Needs to Shake the Rust Off

The Chicago Bulls lost in Overtime to the New York Knicks today. Derrick Rose finally made his return, which is obviously a good thing. Unfortunately for the Bulls, Derrick Rose was a little rusty. Meh- no big deal. The Bulls are going to be the 1 or the 2 seed, and will eventually play the Miami Heat in the conference finals. We all know it’s going to happen, so today’s game doesn’t matter in the big scheme of things.

Derrick Rose is an outstanding player, but he won’t be able to turn the ball over, or miss free throws like he did today. I have a hard time believing that he won’t but he’s missed a ton of time this year, and he’s going to need some time to get back to where he was prior to his injuries.

Should we be concerned? I’m not, so you shouldn’t either. Derrick Rose is again- one of the best players in the NBA with a heart the size of Brazil. He’s going to continue working on his game, and will lead the Bulls deep in the playoffs.

Give him some time. Give the Bulls some time, and let’s get over this loss.

President Obama's Got Jokes About Warriors, 1995-96 Bulls

The Golden State Warriors recently visited the White House to be acknowledged for their 2014-15 NBA championship. As you may know, President Obama is a huge fan of basketball, and especially his beloved Chicago Bulls. While introducing the team, President Obama joked that he was in the presence of one member of the greatest team in basketball history with Steve Kerr on stage. The Warriors head coach was a member of the 1995-96 Bulls team that many think of as the greatest team of all time.

Pau Gasol Puts "Shake and Bake" On Kobe Bryant

The Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls squared off on Thursday night, so naturally all eyes were on former teammates Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. The two had a nice embrace prior to opening whistle, but it was strictly business once the game got started. Don't believe me? Just check out this "Shake and Bake" executed to perfection by Gasol.

Bulls' Noah Comes Nowhere Close To Making Jumper

Joakim Noah is a tremendous hustler and a gritty basketball player who does all the dirty work. That being said, this jump shot was terrible. This was the worst attempt that I've ever seen in my life and I don't expect that Noah will be shooting any more than layups for a good while.
