Chris Andersen aka Birdman Being Investigated By Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force
Chris “Birdman” Andersen of the Denver Nuggets may be in a bit of hot water right now. Andersen’s home was raided on Thursday by the Internet Crimes Against Children task force that is based in Colorado. That basically means that the Birdman is being looked in to for possible child pornography possession or something worth.
We can not rush to judgment in something like this, but if that division is involved in the investigation, nothing good can come out of it. They could have received bad information or Birdman could be set up. Then again, he could also be involved in child pornography, which is about the worst thing you can do as a grown man. We will have to let the investigation play out but the fact that he was investigated at all is troubling.
The investigation started in February, which means this was coming down the pipes for awhile. All in all, this is not going to end up good. There are no winners in this situation. Chris Andersen is going to end up having his name dragged through the mud for probably good reasons. I can not imagine a lot of people are going to come out in support of him after this. Just not a good thing to have your name attached to.
The Nuggets have a critical playoff game Thursday night so this will serve as a distraction. This could end up ending their season. We will have to wait and see the possible outcomes of the situation.
