Chris Bosh has certainly dominated the news wire today. First, word came out that he might possibly play in Game 5 tonight against the Boston Celtics. He has been out for 9 games with a lower abdominal strain.

Second story is quite bizarre and involves his masseuse. Chris Bosh’s masseuse came to his house collapsed and died Monday after she arrived at the Heat forward’s Miami Beach home, according to media reports.

According to a Miami Beach police report, the unidentified woman arrived at the Miami Heat player’s North Bay Road home at 10:24 a.m. Monday for a massage session. She looked “well and in good spirits,” but she suddenly passed out around 2:28 p.m. No foul play is suspected, Miami Beach detective Vivian Hernandez said, per the Miami Herald.

She was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where she died around 11:45 p.m.

No cause of death has been reported, but the woman survived cancer a year ago, a friend told police.

“A beautiful soul was lost tonight,” tweeted Chris Bosh’s wife, Adrienne. “Never take the here and now for granted. Life can be so frail.”
