Kevin Garnett And Rajon Rondo Leave Floor Without Shaking Hands After Game 7
Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo of the Boston Celtics have no love for the Miami Heat. After a brutal Game 7 in which Miami advanced to the Finals, Garnett and Rondo left the floor without shaking hands.
This does not shock me in the least bit. Kevin Garnett has done crap like this his entire career. Always has more bark than bite. He will talk tough, but he will back down if you step up to him. Rondo, well, he’s more of an enigma. He just wants to play ball. Him not shaking hands is a bit more reasonable. The Heat injured him last year. He has no respect for them.
I honestly think that this is not that big of a deal, but it will be made a big deal. If the Heat did this, ESPN would explode. Skip Bayless would scream until his lungs exploded. I feel that if we would make it a big deal for them, we should at least mention it since it involves Kevin Garnett.
Maybe they were upset that their run has come to an end. The Heat have taken out Boston the last two postseasons. Boston gave them a run but they just could not finish it off. They fought hard, but lost to the better team. There is no shame in that, but you should at least show them a bit of respect. Shaking hands is not a hard thing to do. Take your lead from your coach. Congratulate the victor and move on.
