Thabo Sefolosha Steals From And Dunks On Dwyane Wade In Game 3

Thabo Sefolosha of the Oklahoma City Thunder has made some amazing defensive plays against the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals so far.  With the Thunder on the ropes, Thabo simply picked Dwyane Wade’s pocket and drove in for the dunk, which he finished on Wade.

It honestly looked like the Thunder were done until that steal.  It gave them new life as Thabo Sefolosha showed why he is one of the better defensive perimeter players in the league.   Not many people can just reach in and take Wade’s cookies like that.

If Thabo could ever develop a solid offensive game, he would be able to play a lot of minutes on a great team.  However, he is still lacking in that department.  He does a lot of great things, but shooting the ball is not one of them.  If he were able to shoot the ball, the Thunder would be even more dangerous.

Although the Thunder still fell to the Heat in Game 3, the Thunder are still in good position to win the series.  They may be down 2-1, but they could have won both Games 2 and 3.  However, the Heat look like they are going to prevail.  They just seem more focused than the Thunder.  They have been in the Finals before and they know how to deal with the pressure.

This series is going to go at least six games.  If Thabo Sefolosha steps up at all, the Thunder can win the series.
