LeBron James Leaves Game 5 Of NBA Finals To Standing Ovation After Winning First Title
LeBron James was not a popular man when he decided to join the Miami Heat. However, the haters have nothing left to say as the Heat won the 2012 NBA Finals after taking out the Oklahoma City Thunder in a five game series. LeBron dominated the series and was able to leave Game 5 to a standing ovation.
This series meant so much to LeBron James. He never wanted to be hated, but the league needed a villain. He fit that role perfectly and a lot of people rejoiced when he failed. I think a lot of people have gotten over that and are in awe of the way James played this past season. He finally tapped into his true potential and became the guy who we thought he could be.
The emotion on his face was incredible to watch. He was soaking up the moment and letting it all sink in. He knows how hard it is to win a title. This was his third trip to the Finals and it was his first successful one. He wanted to enjoy every last second of it.
As a basketball fan, I really enjoyed the transformation that LeBron made this past season. He grew up before our eyes and deserved to win the title. I can not say that I am a fan of LeBron but I respect what he can do on the basketball court. He is quite the deserving champion after all of this.
