NBA Rumors: Houston Rockets To Meet With Aaron Brooks

The recent NBA rumors have made little to no sense lately.  The latest one has the Houston Rockets meeting with free agent Aaron Brooks.  The Rockets once traded Brooks to the Phoenix Suns for Goran Dragic.  If you are scoring at home, the Suns just re-upped with Dragic.  This might be the first time a trade has had absolutely zero effect on anything ever.

If this makes sense, please let me know.  I am so utterly confused by the Rockets that I have no idea where to start.  They currently have a glut of power and small forwards.  They have few point guards and even less centers.  So to fill the point guard void, they are going after a guy they traded away once before.

I respect the Rockets front office, but the NBA rumors around them the last couple of days have been too tough to manage.  I think that they may be drunk.  The moves make little to no sense, unless they want to play with five power forwards.  Unconventional with a minimal chance of working, but it is the only thing that makes sense.

This is what is great about the offseason, I think.  There are so many wacky things going on that you have to sit back and enjoy it.  If you try to figure everything out, you are going to go insane.  In fact, this move is so far out left field that my head hurts just thinking about it.

Al Horford Emphatically Posterizes Pacers' Solomon Hill

Al Horford clearly isn't letting all the trade rumors he's been involved of late get in the way of business out on the hardwood. On Friday night against the Indiana Pacers, Horford emphatically posterized Solomon Hill with a massive dunk, and NBA aficionados nationwide lost their collective mind on the Internet.
