Goran Dragic had a very nice end to the Fourth of July holiday.  The free agent point guard inked a four year, 34 million dollar deal with the Phoenix Suns.  The Suns needed a point guard after shipping out Steve Nash and Dragic is certainly a good one.

This move really has a domino effect on a lot of teams.  The Houston Rockets are going to go extremely hard after Jeremy Lin now.  They at one time wanted to bring Dragic back, but could not find a taker for Kyle Lowry.  Dragic moved on so they have to find a new person to dance with.

I like this move for the Suns.  Goran Dragic is still pretty young and the kid is only going to get better.  This also means that Kendall Marshall is able to sit for a little bit and learn the game before having to play a big role.  At some point, you could do a wacky lineup with both guys in it, but right now it looks great to bring Marshall off of the bench.

The Suns are going to be interesting to watch next year.  Goran Dragic may not bring a big name to the desert but his game speaks for itself.  He is going to do great down there and I expect that a lot of teams are going to be upset that they did not sign him.  He is no Nash, but I think he is going to help fans forget about him quickly.
